Meet The Team
Our amazing staff assists our trustees and volunteers in the community centre by providing support to help us take on more projects, expand our programs, and effectively contribute to our mission and goals.
Gemma has been with us since June 2022, her previous work background included several years working with Volunteer Scotland.
During the time she has been with us, Gemma has developed her own unique flair for design and presentation around the centre. You can see her little trademarks in everything from our café menus to our meeting room setups.
Gemma facilitates all the day-to-day activities and bookings in our centre, supports and inducts our volunteers and monitors our health and safety compliance.
Drea was employed in January 2021 to establish our community café, Cafe@the park here in our Centre. Initially, only takeaway food due to covid restrictions, the café is fully operational both for dine-in and takeaway and she provides hospitality and lunches for courses and events booked at our Centre. All food is freshly prepared and cooked on-site, including the luscious home baking.
She has a wealth of experience working in local restaurants and has now made her very own mark here at our community café, as well as supporting volunteers and our very first Catering Modern Apprentice.
Erin was employed as our very first Modern Apprentice here at the Centre.
She commenced her apprenticeship in March 2022 and successfully completed it in March 2023.
As the youngest member of our team, she has grown tremendously in confidence and developed her skills in a catering and hospitality environment.
We look forward to supporting Erin in her new role as Café Junior.
